What We Collect

When you submit the form on our website (requesting an analysis, joining the Growth Tracking waitlist, or contacting us), we collect:

• Email address — to respond to your request, deliver your report, or notify you about the waitlist launch
• YouTube channel URL — to perform the analysis (for paid orders) or to segment waitlist members (optional)
• Payment information (only if you purchase) — processed and stored by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor. We do not store your credit card details.

Legal Basis for Processing (EU/UK residents)

• Contract — processing your email, channel URL, and payment to deliver the analysis you purchased
• Consent — joining the Growth Tracking waitlist, or responding to pre-purchase inquiries
• Legitimate interest — improving our methodology using anonymized, aggregated data

You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.

What We Analyze

We analyze only publicly available YouTube data: video titles, descriptions, view counts, like counts, comment counts, publish dates, and video durations. We do not access private YouTube Analytics data and never ask for your YouTube login credentials.

How We Use Your Data

• To deliver the channel analysis report you purchased
• To communicate about your order (delivery, follow-up questions)
• To improve our methodology using anonymized, aggregated patterns (never individual channel data)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing (their privacy policy)
• YouTube Data API — public channel data retrieval (Google's privacy policy)
• Supabase — hosting the database that stores your email and channel URL submitted through our forms (their privacy policy). Data is stored in EU-region infrastructure.
• GitHub Pages — serves this website. GitHub may log standard connection data (IP, user agent) (their privacy statement).

Data Retention

We retain your email and channel URL for the duration of our business relationship plus 12 months. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for future communications

Cookies and Analytics

Our website currently does not use cookies, tracking scripts, or analytics tools on our marketing pages. If we add analytics in the future (for example, a privacy-respecting tool such as Plausible or a heatmap tool with anonymized data), this policy will be updated before those tools go live, and a cookie notice will be shown where required by law.

Children

TubeDissector is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
